Our Shop Window

Our clients have always asked us to upload our store front so they can see what we have in our windows when they can't make it to the store themselves. We have finally relented and this is what we have in the window for the week leading up to the Jubilee celebrations. Apologies for the poor photos.

One of our clients (LM) accused us of not being patriotic enough and that we didn't have any bunting nor any Union Jacks in the window. This window is for that client. 


Yes, those are Union Jack trousers.

Yes they are quite bold. 


No, we are also not quite sure when we are going to wear them, probably at the Olympics or at a beach club. These jeans are just an example of some of the things we are capable of.

Another example is our signature piped jacket made in fire engine red cotton, not for the faint of heart admittedly, but no one can say they didn't see you. Very useful, if not essential for the south of France and just the thing for strolling in to Club 55, attractive arm candy optional. Available to order in other colours and fabrics.

One of our clients asked us for a casual jacket that he could wear for driving one of his favourite convertibles down to the Monaco Grand Prix. The jacket had to be water repellent, have a closing storm collar, be cut short and fitted, but still comfortable enough so that he could wear it for the 12 hour drive down. Oh and he wanted it in red and white, and slightly retro to match his 1967 convertible. We added underarm eyelets for ventilation, invisible seam pockets, and embroidered his name on the back collar. This is a copy of that jacket.

Red and white also happen to be the colours of the St. George’s Cross, and worn with a pair of dark jeans, we have red, white and blue.

Ferrari for the water anyone?

It is always a thrill to hear a 1950s Ferrari V12, even more so if it is put on a boat! The one-off Arno XI hydroplane reminded me of one of my favourite books, which of course is sadly out of print: Classic Speedboats, 1945-1962 by Gerald-Gueta. The aquatic Ferrari will be auctioned by RM Auctions in the next few days.
